About Me

I earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois. While in college, I studied as a Chick Evans Scholar and earned Dean’s List distinction multiple times. I earned my Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. While in law school, I studied as a Dean’s Scholar and completed a Judicial Externship with the Honorable Edward R. Burr of the Circuit Court of Cook County.

I am a member of both the Michigan and Illinois State Bars. I am admitted to practice in all Michigan Courts including both Federal District Courts. I began my legal career with a law firm in Troy, Michigan, focusing on surety and construction law matters. I later worked for a mid-size construction and business law firm in Detroit before starting my own firm.
